NURSE AIDE TRAINING PROGRAM

Our facility offers it’s own accredited nurse aide training program. This program gives employment opportunities to our community and ensures that our employees receive the best possible training to care for our residents.  The program runs for 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday for a period of three (3) weeks, equaling 120 hours. Students receive classroom, laboratory and clinical training.  Classes normally run every other month. NURSE AIDE TESTING

GMCF is also a regional state test site for nurse aide testing.  Tests are conducted on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. To schedule a test call Tina Grewe at 906.224.9811 Ext. 115.
